Push Notifications, Multicurrency and RFID Payments | Latest Release

Written by Hannah Haworth

Fuuse continues its evolution, addressing emerging challenges of EV rollout with our latest feature release…

Push Notifications

We have enabled push notifications to aid charger accessibility and enhance the driver experience. Drivers using the Fuuse mobile app will be alerted to various events with the following notifications:

  • Session begins

  • A charge end notification to warn about exceeding parking time limits

  • Session end notifying the driver to unplug and vacate the charger

  • Notification of any payment deficit accrued

  • Notification of randomised delay to aid smart charging regulations

  • 10-15 minutes before a session moves out of the scheduled time

  • When an operator overrides the charging schedule (via the Fuuse web portal)

Multicurrency

As we expand into international territories we have now enabled multicurrency on the Fuuse platform. Currently, currencies supported are GBP and EUR, with additional currencies added as we continue our growth. In the Fuuse web portal, the operator can now change the currency for each organisation through a simple drop down menu in the organisation settings.

Payments via RFID

Fuuse users have been utilising RFID cards since launch, to start, end and attribute session data to vehicles and chargers. Now we have enabled contactless payments through RFID for further ease. Drivers may pay for charging sessions with a tap of their RFID card, assuming they have setup payment details in the mobile app. Operators can configure how they wish RFIDs to work for their organisation - whether sessions are blocked until payment details are confirmed, or whether sessions are allowed to go ahead regardless.
