You know the drill - Fuuse is evolving. Here’s where we tell you all about the latest updates made to the Fuuse platform in the last few weeks…
We’ve made a change to how Fuuse collects driver payments, giving charge point operators more control and flexibility. Platform users can now set their pre-authorisation amounts (the amount needed to pre-authorise a driver to start a session). This means you can reward staff or regular visitors with a lower pre-auth amount, say £5 - or mitigate risk of unknown drivers with a higher amount like £25.
Platform users can now see how payments have been processed for individual charging sessions: whether the payment was successful or if and how much of the pre-authorisation was needed to cover the cost of the charge. (This customer’s £0.90 session payment was successful, for example).
Chargers can now be individually placed into "Free vend" mode through the “Edit EVSE” screen. This allows any user to activate ‘plug and charge’ charging on a per charger basis, allowing you to offer straightforward, free charging for your drivers. Note - Existing profiles for Free vend may need to be disabled by Fuuse before enabling this on a charger.
Users can now choose what alert notifications they receive from a simple drop down menu, including charger faults, vandalism, instances of ICEing and other charger issues.
Find and store your Fuuse sales representative contact details easily in the platform. And remember, we’re always happy to help with whatever you need to get started, onboarding new customers and keep growing with Fuuse - so don’t hesitate to get in touch.
As always, we’ve also implemented plenty of behind the scenes tweaks and minor fixes to ensure Fuuse is running as smoothly as possible for you and your drivers.
